An ergonomic grip and all‑metal construction provide balanced control, durability, and tool‑free tap and die changes during use. Plug taps feature a square shank compatible with standard tap handles and tap wrenches and are designed for through‑hole threading, while the 1‑inch hex dies fit the Hex‑LOK™ handle and standard 1‑inch hex die stocks. The set also includes drill bits for pilot drilling and is designed for use with drill drivers. These taps and dies are intended for threading common metals such as brass, aluminum, and mild steel.
